Materials
Stainless Steel*
Durable, hypoallergenic, and resistant to tarnish, stainless steel maintains its shine through time and wear. Water-resistant and low-maintenance, it is ideal for everyday use.
*At Chainkissed, the majority of our pieces are crafted using 304 stainless steel, a material widely regarded as hypoallergenic and suitable for most people with sensitive skin.
However, no metal can be guaranteed to be completely allergy-free for every individual. If you have a severe or diagnosed metal allergy, we recommend choosing titanium, which is considered one of the most biocompatible materials available for jewelry.
Custom titanium orders are available upon request. If you require your piece to be made in titanium, please contact us before placing your order, and we will be happy to discuss the available options.
18K Gold-Plated Stainless Steel
Combining strength with refined radiance, gold-plated stainless steel offers lasting durability. To preserve its lustre, avoid direct contact with perfumes, lotions, and harsh chemicals.
Double Silver-Plated Zamak*
Our Zamak components are double silver plated for enhanced durability and finish. Designed to be water- and tarnish-resistant, they maintain their refined appearance with proper care. Store away from prolonged moisture and polish gently with a soft cloth when needed.
Specialized cleaning solutions and polishing cloths designed for silver and silver-plated jewelry are highly effective and safe when used correctly.
*Our silver-plated elements share similar properties to pure silver due to their double-plated design. If exposed to prolonged moisture or harsh conditions, they may gradually lose their luster or experience slight color changes. Should this occur, use the specialized polishing cloth provided to restore their original shine and finish.
Freshwater Pearls*
Organic and delicately radiant, pearls require thoughtful handling. Avoid perfumes, cosmetics, and prolonged water exposure. Gently wipe when needed to maintain their natural luster.
*Due to their natural origin, no two freshwater pearls are exactly alike. Variations in shape, size, and surface characteristics are inherent and part of their unique beauty. (Freshwater Pearls with colors are painted while natural colored freshwater pearls are available upon request.)
Hematite
Hematite is a natural mineral admired for its metallic luster and distinctive character. To preserve its finish, avoid contact with seawater, prolonged exposure to water, perfumes, lotions, and harsh chemicals. After wear, gently wipe with a soft, dry cloth and store in a dry place away from moisture. Avoid friction with hard surfaces and store separately to help preserve its polished finish.
Semi-Precious Stones
Each stone carries unique character and natural variations. Protect from impact and harsh chemicals. Clean gently with a soft, dry cloth.
Glass Elements & Glass Stones
Designed for clarity and luminosity, glass components can chip if dropped. Avoid impact and sudden temperature changes. Clean gently with a soft cloth when needed.
High-Quality Acrylic Beads
Lightweight yet durable, premium acrylic beads retain their vibrancy when handled with care. Avoid high heat and abrasive surfaces to prevent scratching.
Fit, Wear & Care
- Wear jewelry comfortably, never excessively tight, allow space for natural movement.
- Avoid contact with chemicals, perfumes and cosmetic products.
- Remove jewelry before sleeping or engaging in physical activity.
- Avoid prolonged exposure to water, including showering or swimming. (Does not apply for stainless steel elements)
- Wear jewelry after dressing and applying makeup or fragrance.
- Store jewelry in its pouch when not in use.
- Clean gently with a specialized jewelry polishing cloth when needed.

As part of our commitment to exceptional craftsmanship, we offer complimentary repairs for any issue related to the construction of your piece for two years from the date of purchase.
After the guarantee period, our Lifetime Repair Service remains available whenever a repair is possible.
To request a repair, please contact us before sending your jewelry. The original proof of purchase or your Chainkissed Guarantee Card is required. Shipping costs to and from our workshop are the customer's responsibility.
